Center 2: Head
Head – Mental Pressure and Inspiration
This is the center of inspiration, doubt, and questions. It receives mental pressure from the outside or inside, in the form of 'what if…?' or 'could it be that…?'. The Head is where ideas are born, before any logic or structure is involved. It is the fuel for the engine of the Ajna. An open Head can feel overwhelmed by the questions of others, but thereby learns which questions are truly worth asking. A defined Head has its own, fixed source of inspiration.
Defined – You experience a constant, personal stream of questions, doubts, and inspiration. Your mind is never completely still. You can spend hours pondering or being creative from your own mental pressure.
Undefined (with gates) – You have specific themes that inspire you (for example, 'how do I survive?' or 'what is the meaning?'), but that inspiration comes irregularly. Sometimes you are silent for days, then suddenly overflowing. You take on the mental pressure of others but filter it through your own gates.
Completely open – No gates at all. You have no mental pressure of your own. Your mind is naturally still. All the questions you experience belong to others. Your wisdom: you can perceive with complete clarity which questions are meaningful and which are not. Risk: you think all those worrying thoughts are your own and become overwhelmed.
