Solar Plexus (Emo) – Spiritual Awareness
The Solar Plexus is the center of emotions, desires, and feeling truth. It is the engine of the emotional wave: from hope to pain, from desire to disappointment, and back again. A defined Solar Plexus lives in a continuous wave motion. Its wisdom is that you can never decide in the moment; you must ride out the wave to see clearly. An open Solar Plexus is extremely empathetic and often avoids conflict or emotionality, but can thereby become the greatest master at engaging with uncomfortable feelings – knowing that no emotion necessarily belongs to them.
Defined – You live in an emotional wave. One moment you feel hope, then pain, then desire, then clarity. You can never decide in the moment – you must ride out the wave.
Undefined (with gates) – You have no emotional wave of your own, but you do have specific emotional themes (for example, 'excitement' through a particular gate). You feel the emotions of others strongly and color them with your own gate themes.
Completely open – No gates at all. You have no emotional movement of your own. You are naturally neutral and calm. All the emotions you feel belong to others. Your wisdom: you can perceive with perfect clarity what is emotion and what is truth. You are not afraid of intense feelings because you know they are not yours. Risk: you avoid conflict or become overwhelmed by the feelings in a room.
